Description

 We will take the Roman road, which connects the continent to the island, we will leave Djerba in the morning to enjoy the day.

• ·      Djerba this way also serves to bring by pipeline, fresh water on the island.

• ·        Médenine, is a crossroads city and one of the last cities before Ben Guerden and Libya. Next to the new city, there is the old Ksar, it is part of all those Berber ksour that we will visit during the day.

• ·        Then road to the desert, and the oasis of Ksar Ghilaine.

• ·        We will pass by a road that winds between the hills to watch the cayons slowly, the landscape will become more and more arid and rocky, the desert sand, will be waiting until the entrance of Ksar Ghilaine.

• ·        We will have lunch in a restaurant, at the foot of the dunes.

• ·        You will have free time in the oasis of Ksar Ghilaine, with the possibility to swim in the spring, dromedary ride or quad (extra).

• ·        We take the way back to the island of Djerba, passing through Tamezret to look at a Berber villages then we go to Matmata to visit a troglodyte house at the inhabitant.

• ·        Then discover the Star Wars movie sets.

• ·        We cross the mountain range of the Saharan atlas passing through a village called Toujene which is between two mountains that abandoned.

• ·        Back to Djerba.
