Description

 We will take the Roman road, which connects the continent to the island, we will leave Djerba in the morning to enjoy the day.

• Djerba this way also serves to bring by pipeline, fresh water on the island.

Médenine, is a crossroads city and one of the last cities before Ben Guerden and Libya. Next to the new city, there is the old Ksar, it is part of all those Berber Ksour that we will visit during the day.

• Then road to the desert, and the oasis of Ksar Ghilaine.

We will pass by a road that winds between the hills to watch the cayons slowly, the landscape will become more and more arid and rocky, the desert sand, will be waiting until the entrance of Ksar Ghilaine.

• We will have lunch in a restaurant, at the foot of the dunes.
• You will have free time in the oasis of Ksar Ghilaine, with the possibility to swim in the spring, dromedary ride or quad (extra).
• Then continue to the Berber village of Chenini which offers a mountain view. This guide will be pleased to introduce you to the different buildings that make up the village, such as the oil mill, the mosque, the houses dug in the mountains, and much more. 
• Then go to Ksar Hadada, or some scenes from the movie "Star Wars, Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" were shot.
• Back to Djerba.
