Description
Douz is a town in southern Tunisia known as the “Gateway to the Sahara”. Administratively attached to the governorate of Kebili.
Kebili also has a
fairly large palm grove. A few kilometers west of the city, the oasis of
Mansourah, near Telmine, is located where an ancient city once stood, of which
only two large basins remain.
