Nefta is an
oasis-city of Djerid located in the southwest of Tunisia and attached to the
governorate of Tozeur. Famous for its basket and palm grove, it is also the
second holy place in Tunisia

-Visit the old town The architecture of the houses of Nefta is specific to the Jerid region. As in Tozeur, the walls are made of ocher-colored baked bricks. The doors of the houses are made from palm wood.
